When, in 2003, Don got asked to do a rework of one of Abullah Ibrahims songs, the answer came fast as a bullet: Ishmael ! The song has been a favorite for many years and it was an honour to do a rework. They wanted a version without vocals, the lyrics are from the quran and using this is quite controversial among Muslims.
Eventually, the tune was licensed to Saint-Germain-des-Prés Café and sold about 90.000 copies.
BTW: The remix was released under Stephan Rogall by mistake. The French just added Stephan for unknown reason.
